Yes – you read that right: Its not about taking a break to have a snack but rather to take a break from it! Why would that work?
Snacking inbetween will make your insulin levels go up, which will then shift sugar from your blood into your fat cells.
Since I assume you are not deliberately trying to feed your fat cells, allow your digestive system to have a break for at least 4 hours inbetween your meals.
One more hint: Since you should not drink anything 1/2 an hour before and at least 1 hours after your meal (to allow your stomache to digest the food without disturbance), you could use your snack break to drink a good load of water. This will also help against feelings of hunger!
